Coaching Performance—Michael Torres Jaimes

What was life growing up?

My earliest memories consisted of wanting connection (love) and the freedom to play and have fun by going where I wanted when I wanted, and with who I wanted. On the other hand, there was this opposing field that felt like I was being put in a box. This box felt like a prison to me, and I fought for my freedom with anger.

My journey into freedom began when I ran away from home at age 15, and the streets became my new home, and by the age of 27, I had become the king of the hill as I built a million-dollar drug business. I had it all, at least so I thought, success friends, love, money, and material things, and although this life was exciting with moments of happiness, there was an emptiness, a void that never got filled.

I felt like I was still living in a box, a mental prison of various addictions. I appeared put together on the outside, but on the inside, I was falling apart and living in fear, putting up a front with a growing loneliness and sadness that I kept to myself. I wanted to find a way out, and I prayed sincerely for an exist, and it finally came.

Not in the form I wanted, but it happened. I hit rock bottom when the FBI came knocking on my door, slapped handcuffs on me, and presented me with a federal indictment that I finally woke the heck up. And it was there that I would fully wake up from the nightmare I had created.

I began to see the world in a whole different way. I saw how I had been basing my life in fear disguised as love because in looking back now, I see it was love I was looking for. I dove deep within myself and began the practice of various meditation practices and began to study hundreds of personal growth and spiritual books. The more I fell deep within myself, the more magnificent waves of inner love, joy, and happiness began to happen.

I spent years in in-depth study, and I started to have visions that I would help others break out of the mental prison that I had once lived in. I began coaching men and lead small groups who wanted to experience what I was. Upon my release from prison, I continued on the path of self-growth by traveling to India various times to study with an Avatar guru.

I’ve taken some of the best personal growth seminar training, and I became certified as an Integrative NLP Coach (INC), Certified Professional Life Coach (CPC), and Internal Coaching Federation (ICF) certified and a Master Practitioner and Certified Trainer of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), and Mental and Emotional Release® Therapy.

Gender Equality

Gender Equality

Sweden was recently described as a very feminine society. Why? Because gender roles are more flexible! The Swedish government’s website has this to say on gender equality.

‘The overarching principle is that everyone, regardless of gender, has the right to work and support themselves, to balance career and family life, and to live without the fear of abuse or violence.’

Because of this principle, Swedish men decided to live their lives by losing a shop- worn cliché: Women’s work. Now, we see these men proudly caring for their children and looking their best while doing it. A helluva example! All this gets them is comments like all the gay nannies, and they use so much hair gel.

These comments will tell you more about the commentator that he commented on. They are comparing their own culture against the Swedes on zero experience, and theirs won! How strange? The idea of new dad’s taking paternity leave might sound odd, but first, look at their reasons? They want to be there for their partner.

Who did live through some of the most challenging hours of her life! Shouldn’t she get to feel appreciated as she recovers? These men want to be there for their children to have as deep a bond as the mother and child traditionally do. And guess what? The Swedish government responded to the wishes of its people and arranged paid paternity leave! It’s coming out of the taxes these people have been spending all their working lives. It is their money after all, not their governments. Their government believes it’s there to serve their people, not rule them.

The Swedes may seem a bit strange at first glance. They are family-oriented; gender is a matter of who you wish to be, not as you are defined. Racism there is illegal and a chargeable offense. Sweden has 100% pay equality for all Blue Collar jobs and almost 95% and increases in White Collar jobs.

Inequality is against the law there. They not only believe people deserve a better life but that they should have one! That men and women are equal but not the same. If someone feels this is somehow wrong, they are told: It’s the law! Sweden isn’t a strictly feminine society any more than others are purely masculine. It’s merely one culture attempt to improve itself, and it’s a work in progress…quite a lot of progress!
