Random Acts of Kindness & Why Do They Matter

Random Acts of Kindness & Why Do They Matter

You’ve probably been the recipient of a random acts of kindness in your lifetime. Think back to an instance in which someone has helped you out of a tough situation when they could see you were having difficulty or when a friend simply paid you a compliment out of the blue.

A sweet surprise like this can really make a difference. Did you also know such experiences can also be good for your health and overall well-being? It’s true. A random act of kindness can be a good deed, caring word, selfless act or small gift.

Even a smile can brighten someone’s day. Take a look at some of the benefits of random acts of kindness.  Encourage Gratitude  Doing something nice for someone else can make you feel grateful for your blessings.

This is especially true when the recipient of your act is less fortunate than you or in a tough spot. When you realize you’re able to give even the smallest bit of yourself to someone else, it shines perspective on the abundance you have in your life.

Lower Stress Stepping out of ourselves in order to focus on someone else is another great way to gain renewed perspective. Plus, doing good just makes you feel better. It releases feel-good hormones and increases your happiness. Suddenly, your troubles may seem a bit less burdensome.

Improved Mood Numerous studies have shown a positive effect on mood when people engage in random acts of kindness. You’re bound to feel better about life in general when you do good deeds. Improved mood, less anxiety and higher energy levels have all been linked to the performance of random acts of kindness.

In fact, research has demonstrated that the pleasure and reward centers of the brain actually light up in those who perform these acts in much the same way as they respond in the recipients. It even has a name, and that’s “helper’s high.”  Less Pain You might even feel physically better when you practice kindness.

It’s been proven that endorphins are released in the brain after doing something for someone else. Endorphins are hormones produced in the brain and nervous system. They’re often referred to as natural painkillers for their pain reducing abilities.

Better Relationships When you do something nice for another person, they will naturally recall that act with fondness. Random acts of kindness promote good feelings among people and increase connections. These bonds can lead to better relationships and lasting positive interpersonal results.

These are merely a handful of the rewards that come from doing random acts of kindness. Remember, it doesn’t matter how small the gesture. Doing good always makes a positive difference to both the giver and the recipient.

Mind Your Financial Manners

Mind Your Financial Manners

Our parents gave us the financial tools they knew and passed them on to us. For some, that information has created Financial Freedom for others, and it has led to a Financial Train wreck.

With all of the information, it can be extremely overwhelming to navigate through what will work best for you and your family. We tend to avoid this issue until it is either too late and or some tragedy or disaster strikes.

When dealing with money, time is of utmost importance. When the thought comes to you, the process should be started IMMEDIATELY. Not every account, policy, and or strategy is suitable for everyone. Just like a fingerprint, your financial blueprint is also unique.

The first step is to come to grips with your personal money story and what your relationship to it is. Once that has been established, the next step is to find a dedicated Advisor who will steer you in the proper direction depending on your income, assets, and experience that will determine what steps you will take next.

It is a mindset shift to be able to change the old patterns and adopt new strategies to put you and your family on the path to clearing out debt, boosting credit, and becoming financially self-sufficient.

We will discuss in the upcoming months how to create new thought patterns, how to stimulate the frequency that generates income, which also translates to wealth.

It’s a complete lifestyle change that will pay off in the end. Until next time Mind your Money Manners.   Mind Your Money Manners By: Cherese L. Spand CFF resetmyfinances@gmail.com 484-222-3050

Breaking Free from the Matrix No Lone Task!

Breaking Free from the Matrix No Lone Task!

Breaking Free from the Matrix No Lone Task! When the time is right, you feel dissonance with the reality around you versus the world that is waiting to be unleashed on the inside of you.

You start to look around, and the world that was once bright begins to turn grey and starts to feel redundant and repetitive, like one big hamster wheel.

When you begin to feel this dissonance and disconnect, it’s time to get yourself a life coach! This is a sign. Contrary to the belief of the awakening experience, this is not an experience that is to be done by yourself!

This is not a journey that one must embark on, on their own. It’s not suggested to travel the road alone, because once you start on the enlightened path, the light of another enlightened one is often what helps you reach your next stepping stone on the path! Remember the movie “The Matrix”? When Neo was awakened, did he traverse throughout the movie alone?

No! He didn’t even make it out the building alive, in the beginning, without the assistance of his life coaches, Morpheus and Trinity. They guided him step- by- step making sure that at some points, he did have to exemplify bravery and want to take the risk himself

. All the action steps had to be executed by Neo, and when he was ready, more guides appeared, coaching him to the next step in understanding the reality he truly existed in and accepting his place and purpose in said reality. The Oracle was another life coach for Neo, expanding his consciousness, from what he thought he believed, what he perceived as truth, and opened his eyes to the possibilities of what else was possible, with just exposure to different perceptions in his reality (bending the spoon).

Another great example is in the movie “Dr. Strange.” A stellar example of seeking out a life coach to bust open your consciousness when life seems dark and completely change the mundane world around you, to another level of purpose and direction! Even without the use of his physical hands, his life coach, The Ancient One, elevated Dr.Strange’s perception of reality and his capabilities to show him an entirely new level and the realm level and the realm of life.

To my point, life coaches are spiritual guides in human form, sent here to assist those who are ready to break free from 3D, break free from the programming of the matrix, and truly “see” what life is and discover their divine purpose in this world. So when you’re tired of doing the same routine, day in and day out and when you’re tired of feeling stagnant in your vibration, knowing deep in your soul that you are meant to experience so much more, be brave, get courageous and start to seek out your life coach!

The journey is filled with twists and turns, unraveling what we were programmed to believe and we were manufactured to be your guides; to have gone through the very same struggles that you have endured; to have been in the “grey zone” where life began to look like a recycled commercial. But most of all, life coaches have been where you are, where you know in your Spirit that you are destined and capable of achieving so much more with the moments you have been given.

With each session, your perception and perspective on life will be stretched, tested, and questioned. You will be given the tools, resources, and support needed to begin to gain access to the metaphysical world. And what you’ll find is that there are no prerequisites required!

Much of what your life coach imparts to you have been waiting to be unlocked inside of you this entire time! And all you needed was to jump, to take the first step, just like Neo.

We are here. We are ready! And so are you! Start Your New Beginning Today, Love and Light! Ms. Pamela Kaye M.Ed

Dancing with Change

Dancing with Change

Many may feel a twinge of anxiety at the thought of change, with all the related decision-making stress and worry about the” what-ifs.” We are, after all, programmed to self- critique and play out events in our minds, sometimes too repetitively to be emotionally healthy.

As we ponder the possible outcomes of our decisions, it is normal for the stress to cloud one’s judgment, leading to a panicked and less than an ideal choice when we are challenged with a sudden turn of events.

Others who aren’t at that stage can most certainly recall such events from memory and relate to the emotional rollercoaster that change presents as 21st-century life moves us along with both having to deal with personal and business change while simultaneously coping or dealing with day to day life.

This article will arm you with a means to maintain a state of well-being and peace, an essential element for logical well-considered decisions, as change is the only constant in the 21st century, let me help you take the sting out of change.

Let’s learn to dance, instead of wrestle with change instead.

Step One: Gathering and Mindfulness; right where you are now! Right now, wherever you are, stop and take a moment to allow your attention to wander inside your body. Without overthinking, allow your attention to pass through your different body parts, noticing tension, aches, or the need to shift position, hunger, thirst, or perhaps the need to use the restroom.

Take a long as you need before you continue. In these moments you have spent in self-awareness, were there any signals that the body sent to the mind that you were not attentive to? If we try to place the sources of this habit of ignoring our body’s needs, we may notice that each of the things we became aware of tells a little about our personal history and life story as though the body is a diary of our habits and lifestyle.

Engrossed in sensory stimuli, life conditions us to pay more attention externally rather than internally; hence, the repetition of this exercise (which may soon take only a few seconds) before you fall asleep or when you take a break or have a meal will bring about a sense of balance. Balance is not a luxury; it is a power, an ability to remain centered during more demanding or turbulent times.

As the habit of ignoring messages has formed a habit, so too can the above exercise add back into your lifestyle, what has been taken out, and bring about a sense of mindfulness. The benefits of this exercise are greater health stemming from an awareness of what your body is asking for, “The green reed which bends in the wind is stronger than the mighty oak which breaks in a storm.” 2 6 knowing the stimuli such as noise or chatter that may be annoying you, or a type of seating that may cause long term damage.

Lastly, doing and following up on the results of the exercise, can assist one’s ability to recall information easier as the mind has a chance, during the exercise to clear away information it has been focused on while ignoring the body’s needs.

Step Two: What’s up? Never judge yourself too harshly, humans by nature are creatures of habit. This is something that can be used to our advantage. As habits form and we justify their existence in our life and at times cut ourselves short doing so, we can also thereby, follow through and see the patterns we form in our judgment of situations and people, our motivators to action also become more explicit

. Awareness aims to nip such habits in the bud where possible and know the warning signs of potential problem situations and people. When the mind is overworked and unable to deal with a problem in a way that you can say “I acted correctly,” it is usually because of sensory overload that pushes us into a panicked decision. By firstly centering oneself as above, it is next the time to put the pre-programmed, conditioned mind to a temporary rest.

By doing this, we allow what the actual problem or underlying cause that is overwhelming our mind and blocking our full ability to manage with life to present itself is. Take a deep breath and, without thinking even for a moment, blurt out the very first thing that comes to mind. Ask yourself the following: What do I like to do? What do I want right now? What do I need right, oww?

The same exercise can be done again with the conscious, logical mind answering after some thought. If this is done correctly, the answers will probably be surprisingly different from what is at the tip of our tongue, in the primal part of the mind that will speak out that which is what is truly needed.

By allowing our minds to become aware of what it truly needs and communicate this clearly to us, we lay a strong foundation of being grounded and can prioritize action to keep the mind and emotional self in a state of wellness that can handle the challenge.

Step Three: A bite at a time No matter whether your change is weight management, to become stronger financially or emotionally, or to be prepared but relaxed and happy for whatever life brings, remember kaizen. This is a Japanese technique wherein tasks for just a minute at a time and then gradually increasing the length of time over intervals to reach your goal.

If thirty minutes of study is too complicated and you have been postponing this task for the last week, why not try one minute of research today and increase this time length by thirty seconds daily? It doesn’t have the daunting overwhelming feeling attached to the task anymore.

By owning, adapting, and making these principles a habit in your life, they become a part of your thought pattern. While life may throw an occasional curveball, for most of life’s challenges, these techniques make the mind a well-oiled machine ready for a change in a cool, calm, and collected way.

You may find yourself gathering yourself and thinking clearer faster. Setting goals are part of the actively decided change process. The setting, achieving and celebrating personal and business purposes reduce the amount of stress and pain caused when life seemingly pushes you out of your present comfort zone as others make their dreams a reality and impact the environment you exist in.

In this manner, change becomes inevitable; if you ever feel you are stuck, unhappy with where you are or want better, start a process of change by setting goals and making use of the service of a life coach, such as me. By doing this, you rather than somewhat unexpected circumstance or environmental change can decide the change process and the level of challenge you wish for.

Lastly, remember that you are powerful enough to do whatever you wish and have the power to control your life and your reaction or action toward change in any direction imaginable. My motto as a life coach is Ambition is the first step towards success. All Ambition starts with initiative.

Be aware of your power and ability to change and create your life consciously rather than by chance or through decision making resulting only from circumstances. Once you are aware, the steps on how to use this powerful ability accurately and take account of your life are up to the life coaching process.

Bridging the Gap (By Life Coach Kearan Premdev)

Bridging the Gap (By Life Coach Kearan Premdev)

It is human nature to wish and have something to look forward to; after all, hope is said to spring eternal in the human heart. Labeled Hedonism; the human desire for seeking pleasure and avoiding pain is a part of us, a facet we should embrace and celebrate as a fundamental part of our social makeup.

For it is this very sense that comes into play when we are faced with unpleasant situations. The feeling of discomfort as the pleasure of the familiar is ripped away from us, creates the desire for us to move out of our present condition into a better state. I value this discomfort, for it is what I call the “mindseed” that will change our path in life if heeded and start a new adventure for us. There are, however, gaps or shortcomings of this very noble desire to change and being able to bring about the change.

Memories returned from one of many evenings when I sat amongst best friends on a lazy summer night overlooking the city skyline as we ate, sipped drinks and laughed, and joked and chatted the night away, sharing unfiltered joys and “lessons.” Realization of the fact that such a massive gap existed between our dreams and any structured plan by people to achieve them dawned on me at that time. This was triggered by a joke a friend made “If you ever want to make God laugh, tell him your plans for the future.”

“If you ever want to make God laugh, tell Him your plans for the future.” As I sat there, I remembered how often we had gone through the same ritual in which we had shared our ideas and personal perspectives of ours and others’ lives; always as great friends, we listened attentively first. What I believe our difference was, however, was the game of role-play we played with our plans, named What would X do? We sought inspiration from someone we admired; it could be a celebrity, a legendary figure, or the like, who would be adept at fulfilling and succeeding fabulously at dealing with the situation or achieving the task at hand.

What started as a joke game between us, soon became a gem in finding new ways to shift perspective to solve a problem or achieve something. It was not fated laughing at our plans, but a different perspective needed to see our blindspots. Dreams and bucket lists, without timelines, were made by us, then forgotten, then reminded to each other and haltingly somehow these were achieved. Overall it was fun, but surely there had to be more to it.. and a more natural way! It was just too painful and uncomfortable to slog away at making one’s life better while fighting distractions and exhaustion.

Looking back at those times and comparing our story to that of my Life Coaching clients today, I’m reminded over and again of how many dreams, hope, try, and then become frustrated. Luckily for me, no sooner had I wished that the process could be made in easier, that life in its strange way allowed me to befriend a highly successful older colleague-turned-mentor, who it seemed, avoided the public eye in proportion to the extent that his advice was much sought after.

My mentor had gained international recognition and status in the finance industry, which I was a part of at the time and shared his diverse knowledge and insights (which I will share in future articles) that I had never known existed. Between those office breaks, I learned and was pushed to implement a technique to bring those plans which previously existed only between friends or in my head to life: Get them out on paper (“birth them,” he said). Plans which live in your head aren’t subject to strict scrutiny, compared to something physically observable.

We either kill our bright ideas with negative self-talk or keep our thoughts inside our heads for so long that we become comfortable with dwelling on them, rather than implementing them. These plans do not hold any evidence of changes or evaluation, nor do they allow for another’s perspective if one doesn’t have the luxury of a confidant that gets it when you speak. While on the topic of writing down one’s plans, I would like to add that perhaps you, in a similar way to me, have long since lost any desire that I once had for traditional journaling.

A set time frame and book of thoughts now resembles the homework of school days way too much for my carefree spirit. I have, however, developed the knack of doodling. This simple act of making random patterns on paper to represenmet and vent my mood or feelings at the time opens up creative expression pathways. After doodling a bit, I write my thoughts, plans, hopes, and dreams; however wild they are, without judgment on whatever scrap of paper is available to me at that time and then collected it.

This means I can never say that I couldn’t write as my book was elsewhere. Forgetful of any rules of grammar, punctuation, and neatness, I scribble, draw and create or welcome in new ideas in a colossal mess on paper, a mess that I have learned to fall in love with. I have learned to enjoy expressing myself and by doing so have given myself the most significant reward ever to myself; I can date and look back and change my plans- I can celebrate baby steps, significant milestones, and my successes while holding myself accountable and put dates to my past and future goals. Make friends with the fact that plans and goals are your creations and painting on the canvas of life, a creation that you can bring to fruition, raise, develop, and enjoy living in.

I know that I can achieve anything now, without discomfort- at least not at the level of discomfort that would make me run away. The shyness and creative blocks have long since disappeared since I picked up that pen the first time, in of all places an investment bank with me formally dressed, surrounded by contracts and on the serving end of the desk, wondering why I had stayed so long: A familiar thought by that stage in my life.

Little did I realize that my perfectly-formed intentions and images of the future I wished for had so much more to work on that I had overlooked. My personal beliefs, my actions, and my desired goals were not in alignment with each other; I was more the trapped artist than the free soul living and doing what I wanted and when I wanted. As I confided in my then mentor, that I had decided to change perspective from the trapped artist into the captain of a pirate ship, with my boat as my life (cliché much), I remembered feeling great as I anticipated being congratulated on my new awareness of my mind and life patters.

I was checked immediately with a piercing gaze and questioning voice: Who was I running from? Why am I a pirate? After all, a storybook pirate by nature has to flee and fight. My mentor had brought my sub-conscience tendency of over-zealous thinking to light. My make-believe character showed who I was at the time and who I was planning on becoming out of old patterns; again, out of alignment with my current situation. My current location was a star member of the team; the problem was my lack of fulfillment as I had already achieved and overachieved in a job that had started with a childhood dream of working in the finance industry.

A more apt character was needed. So I created the role of one who would travel, help others, learn, and teach. I didn’t have a name for the character at that time. These lessons from this mentor, came from days long before life coaching had become a thing. I had no idea that the semi teacher-student, semi parent-child level my mentor had engaged me in, had, in fact, most of the techniques of life 24 coaching. Years later, attending life coaching classes for certification, these memories brought a smile to my face.

Though my journey is far from over, as a partner in the learning process, I hope that you, too, can experience these bits of joy in years to come, when looking back on yourself today. I hope that by me sharing these moments with you, you, too, gain inspiration, learn how to role-play an appropriate character to find the perspective needed to achieve your goal. Write out your plans, doodle.. do whatever you need to get your expression and your creative juices flowing.

Write it out and lastly, evaluate your written plan, and get an external perspective. Having a vision of what you want or at least don’t want in your life is one of the most important steps to being a successful achiever in the life coaching process. Do not let you stop you.
